Yes, we can do your ad in 48 hours, or less. But we prefer at least two weeks to create an ad for you, and three to four weeks to create a brochure. Advertising is about effectiveness. How much do you charge?

Professional Advertising does not work on commission. You are charged only for the time you need. Better still, we charge in 15 minute blocks of time, so you can call and ask just a few questions, or make quick future changes and updates to your ad design.

We have provided you with some flat rate pricing in Working With Professional Advertising. We do a lot more than just design your ad, so please go and review all of the additional services that are included in our flat rate pricing.

Our price for design services is $24 per 1/2 hour. Research is $39 per 1/2 hour, and consulting services are $55 per 1/2 hour.

Why do you charge separately for photographs?

The success of an advertisement often depends on strong visuals that really deliver your message. You absolutely want the very best photographs you can get. 

At Professional Advertising, we have access to tens of millions of photographs, and one of them is perfect for your business. A photo may be free, and you won’t be charged for it. A photo may cost three hundred dollars. What’s important is that you get the right one. Find the right photo, buy it, use it, keep it forever. It’s a great investment.  [The average price of a royalty-free stock photo is about $125, and well worth the price].  

We will also make recommendations about photographs that you don't want to use in your ads. It might be tempting to put a picture of a family member in your ad, but it may not be the effective thing to do.

Yes, but there is an additional charge for rush jobs. Work that must be completed in less than 48 hours incurs a 30% surcharge.

Will you place the ad in the media for me?

We will send your finished ad directly to the publisher if you want, but we do not normally negotiate placement or pricing with your publisher.

We will make specific recommendations about the media you choose. We want to see the actual newspaper, magazine, or phonebook you plan to run your advertisement in. This helps us to create more effective ads for you. And we will talk directly with the publisher to insure the reproduction quality of your ad.

If you want us to negotiate with the publisher for placement and price, this service is provided at our Marketing Research rate of $39 per 1/2 hour.

Can you print my work for me?

We will work directly with the printer of your choice to insure that you get the very best reproduction quality for your marketing materials. We will ask them about the format they need, the type of printing press they use, and what problems they encounter. We will double check to make sure that they understand the quality of work you expect.

Will you take photographs for me?

We can work with your local photographer, and we can work with pictures you take. Professional Advertising also has access to tens of millions of super high quality photographs. Sometimes we find that it is better to buy an existing photo than to have a custom photo taken [and it’s a lot cheaper, too].

Almost all of our clients live in distant cities. Fortunately, modern communications resolve every problem. If we need to talk, we will talk [toll-free for you]. We can zap ideas and samples back and forth over the Internet, and there is always overnight mail as needed.

Creating great work for you is not about the distance between us. It’s about the talent, the ability, and the knowledge to be able to do it.
